    Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails from PrintUI (other than operational emails), we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.

  • All interactions with this site is secured using HTTPS.
  • All interaction between this site and third-party sites (such as to access image galleries on social accounts like Facebook) are also secuired using HTTPS.
  • All data that may contain any personally identifiable data is encrypted using a strong 256-bit encryption method no matter where it resides.


Do we use cookies?

We use temporary session cookies necessary for the operation of our web site.

(Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.)


Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.


What third party services do we use?

A number of third-party services are required in order for us to run this site.

  • Unless you are providing dedicated hosting for this site, we are hosting this site using Amazon Web Services EC2 instances.
  • All jobs for templates and forms are stored in the Amazon S3 storage service.
  • Information about templates and forms are stored in the Amazon DynamoDB database service.
  • Unless you are providing dedicated hosting for an InDesign Server, we are processing all jobs on InDesign Server instances residing on Amazon EC2.
  • Unless you are providing dedicated hosting for an Administrative Server, we are processing all jobs on Administrative Server instances residing on Amazon EC2.
  • We use other Amazon EC2 instances for a number of other services such as to generate thumbnail images or to process forms.
  • Unless specified otherwise, we use the Amazon Web Services' data center located in Northern Virginia.
  • Some image galleries are retrieved from sites such as Facebook or Dropbox.
  • When you need support from PrintUI, we track your issue using Zendesk.

Do we comply with the EU's GDPR?

We are in compliance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • PrintUI acts as a Data Controller for any personal information that you enter into this site, such as your account information on the My Account page. Account information is encrypted.
  • You are the Data Controller and PrintUI acts as a Data Processor for forms, templates, and jobs that you process on this site. Note that the forms and templates that you upload are not encrypted, although they are not accessible publicly or by other PrintUI clients. Jobs, however, are encrypted.
  • When we access image galleries on third-party sites such as Facebook, they are the Data Controller and PrintUI acts as a Data Processor. We believe that all of these third parties are in compliance with the GDPR, but you should verify the policies for the sites that you access.

  • You have the right to be forgotten under the GDPR. To do so, please send a request to support@printui.com. We will notify your site's administrator to assign your jobs to someone else and permanently delete your account. However, information about your activities on this site may still reside in our log files. We use that information to track the overall usage of this site and to debug problems.

Do we comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act?

Because we value your privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.


Do we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act?

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
